This is what I found today when I went out to feed the Koi. Two beautiful, fragrant white water lilies.
I've been watching for several weeks, as they sent up these buds. (The dust is pollen from the plant above.)
Water Lilies open in the morning, then close in the late afternoon. They have an aura of tranquility and are very soothing to gaze upon.
They are so gorgeous - I can understand Monet's fascination with them.
